Rehabilitation
Whether you are recovering from an injury, illness or surgery, we understand and respect your desire to return to your greatest level of independence. Paul’s Run licensed therapists are focused on getting you back home as quickly as possible.
Primary Services
As a short term rehabilitation patient, you will receive therapies prescribed by and coordinated with your physician. These may include Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy or IV Therapy. Our staff will assess your progress and discuss your medical and discharge needs with you. Therapy is available at least five days a week, while assessment, evaluations and consults are available seven days a week.
Paul’s Run Rehabilitation services are covered by Medicare, Blue Cross and some HMO plans. Upon discharge from a qualified hospital stay, most insurance carriers will initially certify a five-day stay in a skilled nursing facility, covering skilled therapies, room and board. As rehabilitation progresses, most insurance carriers will re-certify therapy stays for a set period of time.
Please keep in mind, if you are planning surgery make sure you check with your individual insurance provider to determine your coverage for hospital care and acute-care settings such as Paul’s Run Retirement Community.
